Slovak real estates in 2017

Situation in the real estate market is more in favor of seller than buyers.

The increase of real estate price is expected per this year but it shall be slower than in previous years.

Average price of real estates in Slovakia according to NARKS was at about 1.295 eur per square meter.

Last year the banks provide a lot of mortgage and a large demand for real estates caused increase of the real estate price.

Situation in the real estate market is in favor of the buyers.

Based upon the statistics, the average price of real estates in Slovakia of last quarter of the last year increased again.

According to data of National bank of Slovakia (NBS) there was an increase of price of smaller apartments.

The price of one-room apartments increased per 14%, the lowest price increase regards more room (large) apartments by 6%.

According to the data of NBS, the average price of apartments is still lower compared to the year 2008 whereas the average price of houses compared to the year 2008 by 16%.

Prices of the apartments increased in various regions faster than household income.
